Akron Zips Football Tickets Available!

I am not going to claim to be a big college football fan, but one of my colleagues in the office pointed out this Akron Zips football tickets web site and we had a good laugh about the “Fear the Roo” slogan that refers to the Zips kangaroo mascot. In case you don’t know, the Akron Zips are from Ohio and play in the Mid-American Conference along with other teams I have hardly ever heard of like the Ohio Bobcats, Toledo Rockets, Miami Ohio Redhawks and the Michigan Eagles just to name a few. I think in order to belong to the Mid American Conference you have to have a silly sounding team name…the Toledo Rockets…really? Akron Zips? HAHA!
