From the Library: English Classical Music

On today's programme we'll be featuring the work of English (or English-based) composers from the days of Arne and Handel up to the 20th century. The programme particularly features the works of well-known composers such as Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Deslius and Walton. In addition, like fruit in a Christmas cake, we have added some classic seasonal recordings including tracks from Bryn Terfel's new Christmas album (and the bonus album of carols in Welsh).

Season's greetings to our listeners and sponsors from all of us at thap gump! Thank you for your support throughout the year.
Today's programme is presented by Elrik Merlin and produced by thap gump in conjunction with our friends at the Alexandrian Free Library Consortium of Second Life.
