Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a British musical theatre show written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.  It's based on the "coat of many colors" story of Joseph from the Hebrew Bible's Book of Genesis and was first presented in London in 1968.  The show has very little spoken dialogue, as it is sung-through for nearly the entire two hour performance without intermission.
