Dante, although a tried-and-true mancat, has distinct maternal tendencies towards Dylan. Not only are they best furiends, but Dante takes Dylan under his wing (so to speak) and gives him a good licking from time to time.
You can see the affection between them as Dante wraps his paws around Dylan's neck to hold him in place for the duration of the catwash. There is absolutely no resistance on Dylan's part because of his total trust for Dante.
